Eleventh meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Facilitation of Trade Procedures (CCFTP) and the fifth meeting of the Steering Committee of the "Regional Economic Cooperation in Central Asia on Improving the Activities of Border Agencies" Project

Today in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade the eleventh meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Facilitation of Trade Procedures (CCFTP) and the fifth meeting of the Steering Committee of the "Regional Economic Cooperation in Central Asia on Improving the Activities of Border Agencies" Project were held and chaired by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mr. Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali.
    It should be noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H. E. Emomali Rahmon in his annual address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and at Government meetings gave specific instructions to the relevant authorities to take the necessary measures to reduce barriers to trade and services in order to address domestic and foreign trade issues  and support domestic producers.    
    During the meetings the issues on the authorized economic operator, activities of the Single Window System and development of E-commerce in the Republic of Tajikistan were revised by the CCFTP Members.
         Abdurahmonzoda A. С. noted that the main purpose of these meetings is the timely and high-quality implementation of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H. E. Emomali Rahmon on acceleration of the trade facilitation process.
    An open dialogue took place between representatives of government agencies and the private sector, which contributes to the implementation of strategic documents and sustainable economic development of the country.
    At the end of the meeting, the relevant instructions were given to the responsible authorities and the corresponding protocol was signed.
