Participation of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade in the 5th Istanbul Economic Summit

       On December 10, 2021, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali arrived in Istanbul, Turkey to attend the 5th Istanbul Economic Summit. The event was organized under the name "Green Economy" and included such topics as "The Importance of the Green Economy Sustainable Development Goals", "The process of change and transformation of global renewable energy", "The impact of ecotourism on the economy, social and cultural life". “Changing the Mobile Ecosystem and the Future of Our Autonomy”, “Electrification Transformation in the Automotive Industry”, “How are Green Appeal and Green Financing Rebalancing the Global Economy?” and "A New Balance in a Torn COVID-19 Supply Chain." In the relevant panels of Abdurakhmonzoda A. S. speakers provided the participants with specific information on 4 global humanitarian initiatives proposed by the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on water issues, in particular, the proposal of Tajikistan to declare the International Decade of Action "Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028”, as well as a proposal to declare 2025 the “International Year of Glacier Protection” and to establish a special International Glacier Protection Fund. At the same time, Abdurakhmonzoda A. S. informed about the significant achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of e-commerce and digitalization of the economy, and invited participants, investors and representatives of international organizations to participate in priority investment projects in the country.
