WTO Director-General: Roberto Azevêdo

Roberto Azevêdo is the sixth Director-General of the WTO. His appointment took effect on 1 September 2013 for a four-year term.

The Office of the Director-General provides support to the Director General in the exercise of his functions as head of the WTO Secretariat, in a manner that fulfils the WTO's mandate, that advances its role and functions, and that best services its Members and Observers.
